Foods & Feasts of Colonial VirginiaAt the Yorktown Victory Center, a museum of the American Revolution, explore 18th-century culinary practices of Virginia during this three-day event beginning on Thanksgiving Day. Visitors learn about typical soldiers’ fare during the war and trace the bounty of a Revolution-period farm from field to kitchen.

At Jamestown Settlement, a museum of 17th-century Virginia, visitors discover how food was gathered, preserved and prepared on land and at sea by Virginia’s English colonists and Powhatan Indians.
